Sengul Erdogan from Izmir, Turkey, is one of our big success stories of 2009.

She came to inlingua Vancouver to participate in the study and work program starting in the early Spring of 2009. She started in the beginner level barely able to communicate, graduated at an advanced English level and through our internship program was able to get on as a Customs Broker in charge of Freight Shipping.

We are very proud of her and her experience is certainly going to carry back with her to Turkey!!

Here is her testimony…..

I studied at inlingua Vancouver for 6 months. I had a great time. I really enjoyed  the school activities. I have many friends now from all over world that I met at inlingua and I am still keeping in touch with them which is really satisfying. I learned a lot about other student’s culture.
The English classes I took at inlingua enabled me to find a job as a Customs Broker, responsible for freight forwarding. Inlingua helped me to get this job. I had a wonderful experience  at inlingua and in Vancouver and I definitly recommend it to everybody. Thank you inlingua  Vancouver.

Way to go Sengul and the students and staff at inlingua Vancouver wish you the very best in your future endeavors!!

inlingua Vancouverのインターンシッププログラムを終えて

Hitomi Iio (From Japan)IMG_0946

Experience at inlingua Vancouver

- by Ayako Sano (from Japan)

I have been studying at inlingua since last week. My classmates and teachers had given a welcome when I first started studying at inlingua. They made me happy.

Also, I really enjoy the graduation BBQ at Kitslano Beach. I could talk lot with many students. There are many people who live in different countries. I will try to talk with them and I’d like to improve my English.

This was a right decision for me to choose inlingua.

At inlingua Vancouver

-by Makoto Iwata (from Japan)

I have been studying at inlingua since last November. When I came here, I couldn’t speak English at all. I studied at beginner level. After studying at intermediate level, I still think my English skills are improving. That’s all because of the help from my teachers, counsellors and staff. Teachers and counsellors answered my questions about anything at anytime. In my opinion, if I couldn’t come to inlingua, I couldn’t have spoken English as well. We are helped by the great teachers and excellent counsellors as we study English everyday. I can’t thank them enough.
