General English Courses

General English courses help students learn to communicate in a natural way with the inlingua method. These lessons are fun, dynamic and interactive. You will improve your speaking skills and your listening, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary skills as well.

Voluntern Program (VOL) in the City or in the Wilderness

Work experiences in the city of Vancouver or in a rural area (wilderness) with a federally registered charity.

There is no economic compensation.

Farmstay

Farm work and accommodation placements in BC, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec.
Minimum placement is 2 weeks, maximum placement is 4 weeks with a visitor’s visa.
Longer placements available on a case by case basis.

Student Practicum Program (SPP)

Practicums in professional organizations or companies.
There is no economic compensation.
The SPP program is offered in partnership with Experience Education (EE) an excellent work placement coordinator in Canada.
Participation in an inlingua language program is a prerequisite for access to this program.
Pre-placement is required.
There is no requirement for a 50:50 duration. The work experience component can be longer.
Only for students doing internships for foreign university credits and for students who qualify for International Experience Canada Work Permits.

Accommodation (2014)

While you study and learn English in Canada, it is very important to live in a nice place. Our language school, inlingua Vancouver, offers many options for international students: Homestay (full board or half board), Rooming (no meals), and student house accommodation.
